Dr Vivien Yip, is a Senior Consultant with the National Healthcare Group Eye Institute @ Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She is also the head of Glaucoma and Comprehensive Eye Care services at the National Healthcare Group Eye Institute. Dr Yip leads her team in optimising clinical care for her patients through new care models with a focus on timely intervention and wholistic management. Dr Yip has presented and published in numerous conferences and journals both locally and internationally. She is currently involved in Glaucoma and Primary Eye Care research and is a co-investigator in several research grants.

Prof. Dr. Xiangjia Zhu, Director of the Cataract & Lens Refractive Surgery Department at Eye & ENT Hospital, Fudan University, is a prestigious recipient of the NFSC Excellent Young Scientists Fund. She has advanced clinical outcomes for highly myopic patients, elucidated mechanisms of related complications (cataract, glaucoma, etc.), and first identified anxiety as a systemic complication of high myopia. Being the winner of 2025 NFER Cataract Research Award and 2026 APACRS Certified Educator Award, she holds 150 SCI papers as first/corresponding author and 12 patents, and has led five NSFC projects, ranking 10th globally among cataract experts by Expertscape.

Tomasz Zarnowski, Professor and Chairman, Glaucoma Clinic, Medical University, Lublin, Poland. Primary scientific interests in glaucoma are glaucoma surgery, managing complications, genetics of glaucoma, neuroprotection, pharmacology, anti-VEGFs, compliance, etc. He has a long-term clinical experience with diagnosis and management of glaucoma, teaching students and specialists. His cumulated IF is well over 400, Hirsch-index=26.

Dr Yap, is the Clinical Director of the Complex Anterior Segment Service and a Senior Consultant with the Glaucoma Service at the Singapore National Eye Centre. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor with Duke-NUS Medical School and Lead of the innovative outreach arm of the SNEC-Global Eye Health Program. She is involved in research investigating noveldevices and surgery for the treatment of glaucoma and complex cataract surgery.

Professor Wong, is a Senior Consultant in the Glaucoma Service and holds the Distinguished Professorship in Clinical Education in Ophthalmology at the Singapore National Eye Centre. She is the current Director of Faculty Development for Singapore Eye Research Institute and the Academic Vice Chair in Faculty and Professional Development Eye-ACP at Duke NUS. She is also the co-Head of the Ocular Therapeutics and Drug Delivery Group at the Singapore Eye Research Institute. Professor Wong is the founding President of the Glaucoma Association Singapore and past Executive Director of the National Health Innovation Centre.

Dr. Sushmita Kaushik, a leading glaucoma specialist, is a Professor of Ophthalmology at PGIMER, Chandigarh. She has authored 181 peer-reviewed publications and 53 textbook chapters. Internationally acclaimed, she is a Visiting Professor at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, USA, and KKESH Riyadh, and an invited member of the CGRN. Her numerous accolades include the AIOS-BK Narayana Award (2025), Noel Rice Oration (UK Pediatric Glaucoma Society, 2023), multiple oration awards from KSOS and LVPEI, and keynote lectures at Pittsburgh and Manchester. Her pioneering work continues to make impactful contributions to childhood and adult glaucoma care both in India and globally.

Prof Ramanjit Sihota, MD, FRCS, FRCOphth, was heading the Glaucoma research facility and clinical services at Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, for 14 years. Dr Sihota spearheaded the National Task force in Glaucoma, which trained District Ophthalmologists across India in Glaucoma management. She has published over 225 papers in peer reviewed, indexed international journals. She has written – ‘Practical approach to Glaucoma” for use by PGs and general practitioners.She was the recipient of the ARVO India 2024 Dr Badrinath oration. Prof Sihota has been in the lifetime and annual Stanford lists of the top 2% of researchers worldwide for Ophthalmology.

Dr. Shoji graduated from Niigata University School of Medicine in 1988 and began his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Tokyo Hospital that same year. In 1991, he began researching glaucoma under Prof. Makoto Araie. He joined Kitasato University School of Medicine in 1999 and became chief professor in 2016. That same year, he presided over the 27th Annual Meeting of the Japan Glaucoma Society in Yokohama. In 2024, he succeeded Prof. Makoto Aihara as President of the Japan Glaucoma Society.

Seungsoo Rho is a clinician-scientist whose work is focused on investigation of novel glaucoma treatments with biomaterials. As Seungsoo is one of the leading glaucoma surgeons in CHA Bundang Medical Center (Seongnam, Republic of Korea) and a Professor of Ophthalmology in School of Medicine, CHA University, his research is largely inspired by glaucoma patient care in practice. After PhD degree and > 10 years of glaucoma practice in Korea, his research experience was expanded in Cardiff University (Wales, UK) where he holds an honorary title.

Prof. Prin Rojanapongpun is at Chulalongkorn University and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand, and a Medical Director of MedPark Hospital Eye Care Center. He completed his glaucoma fellowship at the University of British Columbia under Prof. Stephen Drance, with additional training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Duke University, and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. A past President of APGS, SEAGIG, AACGC, and the Thai Glaucoma Society, he has delivered over 800 international lectures and performed live surgery in seven countries. His research focuses on micro-devices, VR, AI for glaucoma, and advanced cataract surgery.

Mineo Ozaki directs Ozaki Eye Hospital in Miyazaki, Japan, and serves as Adjunct Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Adjunct Clinician Scientist at Singapore Eye Research Institute, and Lecturer at University of Miyazaki. For nearly 30 years, he has conducted clinical and basic research on exfoliation syndrome and exfoliation glaucoma. He founded the Japanese Consortium for Genetic Research on exfoliation syndrome with Singapore National Eye Centre and Genome Institute of Singapore, and works with Prof. Tin Aung and international collaborators. His research on glaucoma genetics and surgical treatment has been published in journals including JAMA, Nature Genetics, and Ophthalmology.

Maria Catherina Nasol is a practicing Glaucoma Specialist for more than 15 years. She has a vast experience in managing complicated glaucoma cases and has special interest in filtering surgeries, tube surgeries and complicated cataract surgeries. Dr. Trina Nasol finished her Glaucoma Fellowship at the esteemed National University Hospital in Singapore under the tutelage of Professor Paul Chew. She was also trained in Refractive Surgery in the same institution. Currently, she is the Glaucoma Section Head of University of Santo Tomas Hospital and Cardinal Santos Medical Center. She also holds a board position at the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr Ray is a Senior Consultant & Deputy Head in Ophthalmology at National University Hospital. He is an Associate Professor and Director of Education in Dept of Ophthalmology at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. After completing his undergraduate education at the University of Calcutta, India, he underwent basic and advanced surgical training in Ophthalmology at Prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, the premier medical institute in India. Subsequently he underwent advanced surgical training in the field of Cornea and external diseases at AIIMS. He also obtained a Fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (UK) in 1998. He joined National University Hospital, Singapore in 2002. He is a Consultant at NUH since 2009.

Dr. Levin is Distinguished James McGill Professor and former Chair of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences at McGill University. He received his AB, AM, PhD, and MD degrees from Harvard, with an ophthalmology residency and neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is an elected member of the American Ophthalmology Society and the Glaucoma Research Society. He edited five textbooks, including Neuro-Ophthalmology: The Practical Guide, Ocular Disease: Mechanisms and Management, and the 11th and 12th editions of Adler’s Physiology of the Eye. His research is on optic nerve axonal death and improving the design of neuroprotection clinical trials.

Dr Kiew is a glaucoma consultant at Singapore National Eye Centre and Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS medical school. She runs the uveitic glaucoma service at SNEC and is the current program director for the Singhealth Ophthalmology Residency Program.

Dr. Parul Ichhpujani is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, specializing in glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology. She trained in glaucoma at the Advanced Eye Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh, and completed a Clinical Research Fellowship at Wills Eye Institute, Philadelphia. She serves on the Education Committee of the World Glaucoma Association and holds editorial roles with leading ophthalmology journals. Recognized among the “Best 40 Ophthalmologists under 40” in 2015, she has an extensive academic portfolio, including over 120 indexed publications, numerous book chapters, and editorial contributions, and leads the Springer series Current Advances in Ophthalmology.

Rahat Husain is a senior consultant ophthalmologist based at Singapore National Eye Centre, specialising in glaucoma and cataract care. He has a strong interest in service innovation, particularly the development of virtual clinics and new models of care to improve efficiency and patient access. His work includes implementation of glaucoma virtual clinics and redesign of outpatient pathways. Clinically, he is experienced in cataract surgery and glaucoma procedures, with an interest in integrating evidence-based techniques into routine practice. He is actively involved in teaching and service development, and regularly presents on clinical and operational topics in ophthalmology.

Dr. Ruben Hemelings is a researcher specializing in artificial intelligence and ophthalmic imaging. With a PhD from KU Leuven that won the 2022 McKinsey & Company Scientific Award, his research focuses on developing deep learning models to detect and predict glaucoma (progression) from retinal photographs. He is the first author of multiple works, including G-RISK, an AI tool that quantifies structural glaucoma damage from fundus photos. Currently affiliated with the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI), Dr. Hemelings is involved in translational research at the intersection of clinical ophthalmology, AI, and population health. His work emphasizes real-world applicability, from large-scale screening to individualized risk prediction.

A/Prof. Do Tan is the chief of glaucoma department in Vietnam national Eye Hospital, He works as sub-specialty consultant (glaucoma) and general consultant, vitreo-retinal consultant; he can use many kinds of laser: ALT, SLT, Laser peripheral iridotomy, trans-scleral cyclodestruction, Laser iridoplasty… and at the same time, being a competent surgeon with various types of surgery such as about 20 000 phacos, 6 000 trabeculectomies, nearly 1000 deep sclerectomies, 1000 scleral buckling, 3000 vitrectomies for Malgnant Glaucoma, RD, endophthalmitis, familiar with every kind of phaco machines: from simplest to very modern ones like: Millennium, Infinity, Sovereign, Centurion; vitrectomy machines: Nidek, Accurus,Constellation. Being an expert in using quick-chop technique for hard and very hard cataracts and in doing Endoscopy assisted vitrectomy for malignant glaucoma, intraocular infection and retinal detachment. In addition, he is alsoa enthusiatic researcher and teacher and is spending a lot of time involving in some regional and international studies as TVT Asia, QPI 1007, Genetics in glaucoma.Since 2024, he has been appointed as Vice Chief of Eye Department, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He contributed as main authors and co-authors in some highly cited publications on Journal of Glaucoma, Clinical Ophthalmology, EYE, JAMA Ophhthalmology and Nature Genetics.

Prof Dr Norshamsiah Md Din is a Professor and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology, Glaucoma Unit, and a Professor of Ophthalmology. Dr Norshamsiah has been involved in research, education and clinical treatment related to Glaucoma, particularly in diagnostics and management of glaucoma for over 10 years. She is an internationally recognised speaker, clinician and researcher and has published extensively in numerous medical journals and book chapters. Currently she is the chairperson of the Ophthalmology SpecialtyEducation Committee in the Malaysian Medical Council. She is extensively involved in national and international education related to ophthalmology and glaucoma.

Dr. Tanuj Dada MD, FRCSEd, is currently Professor of Ophthalmology and Head of Glaucoma Services at RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS-New Delhi. He serves as Board of Governors of the World Glaucoma Association. He is Chief Editor of the Journal of Current Glaucoma Practice, associate editor of the Journal of Glaucoma and on the editorial board of American journal of ophthalmology. He has pioneered the research on meditation and glaucoma and is recipient of the Special Recognition Award of the World Glaucoma Association and Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Award for Outstanding Service in Prevention of Blindness.

Jonathan Crowston is an ophthalmologist and clinician–scientist specialising in glaucoma and optic nerve biology. He is Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Sydney and a glaucoma specialist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. His research focuses on mechanisms of optic nerve degeneration and resilience in glaucoma, particularly how ageing, metabolism, and mitochondrial function influence retinal ganglion cell vulnerability. He leads translational research programs investigating neuroprotection and metabolic therapies, including the role of nicotinamide in glaucoma. Jonathan leads the Optic Nerve Research Program at the University of Sydney and directs the Snow Vision Accelerator, a research program focused on discovery and translation of neuroprotective therapies for optic neuropathies.

Asst. Prof. Kossama Chukmol is a leading Cambodian ophthalmologist and academic, currently serving as Deputy Director of Preah Ang Duong Hospital, the country’s principal national center for eye care. She also heads the hospital’s ophthalmology department and plays a key role in advancing clinical services and specialist training. She is actively involved in regional and international eye health initiatives. In addition, she contributes to medical education as a lecturer at the University of Health Sciences in Cambodia, where she trains future ophthalmologists. With advanced training in glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology, and a background in epidemiology, Asst. Prof. Kossama Chukmol has contributed to research and development in eye care. She is widely recognized for her leadership in strengthening ophthalmology services and improving eye health outcomes in Cambodia.

Professor Ching-Yu Cheng is the Assistant Dean (Research), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Director of the Centre for Innovation & Precision Eye Health at NUS. He concurrently heads the Data Science Unit and Ocular Epidemiology Research Group at Singapore Eye Research Institute. His research covers epidemiological, clinical, and genetic studies of age-related ocular diseases. As Director of the Singapore Epidemiology of Eye Diseases (SEED) program, his team has built one of the world’s largest ocular diseases databases. He has published >600 papers in leading journals.

Dr. Dilruwani Aryasingha (MBBS,MD,FRCS) is a consultant ophthalmologist at Golden Key Eye Hospital, Colombo and the immediate past Chairperson of Glaucoma Interest Group of the College of Ophthalmologists of Sri Lanka. She was the President of the College of Ophthalmologists of Sri Lanka in 2019. She is a Graduate of APAO Leadership Development Program in 2016. She is a board member of Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society, board member of APAO Women in Ophthalmology steering committee and a council member of SAARC. She has done glaucoma fellowships at Milton Keynes and Southend University hospitals, United Kingdom.

Prof. Emeritus Makoto Aihara was immediate past Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Tokyo. Outside of ophthalmology, he has majored in neuroscience and molecular biology. Prof. Aihara’s research interests include the mechanisms of intraocular pressure regulation, glaucoma animal models, lipid mediators, and the development of glaucoma drugs and new surgeries. He is honorary member of the Japanese Ophthalmological Society, immediate past President of Japan

Dr Xiaofei Wang is currently a Professor at Beihang University, Beijing, China and Principal Investigator at Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Biomedical Engineering where he heads the Ophthalmic Engineering and Visual Science lab. He obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of New South Wales and finished his postdoc training in National University of Singapore and Singapore Eye Research Institute. He has strong expertise in ophthalmic engineering including ocular biomechanics, ophthalmic image processing, glaucoma and myopia. He published frequently in top ophthalmology and engineering journals.

Dr. Damrong Wiwatwongwana is the Academic Chair of the Thai Glaucoma Society and a faculty member in the Department of Ophthalmology. He has completed 2 clinical fellowships, Glaucoma and Oculoplastics and Orbital disease from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He has a special interest and extensive experience in minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery. He is currently involved in multi-centered research projects on MIGS in Thailand. He is also serving as the Head of the Ophthalmology undergraduate program and Head of the Oculoplastics Division at the Chiang Mai University.

Dr.Wang is an Assistant Professor at the Cole Eye Institute at Cleveland Clinic. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago,before pursuing her glaucoma fellowship at the Duke Eye Center.Dr. Wang has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and presented at over 20 national and international conferences, is a peer reviewer for several journals including Ophthalmology Glaucoma and BMC Ophthalmology, and was awarded several awards focused on both research as well as patient care. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and most of all – spending time with family and friends.

Associate Professor Victor Koh is the Pro-Tem CEO and Chairman of the Hospital Planning Committee for Tengah General and Community Hospital, the newest member of the National University Health System (NUHS). In this role, he is building not just a new, dynamic healthcare team but also designing a future ready institution around the needs of the Western community. A/Prof Koh concurrently heads the Department of Ophthalmology at the National University Hospital, and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. A strong advocate for advancing medical innovation, he leads SPIN (Ophthalmology), NUHS’ flagship programme for translational innovation, driving breakthroughs that bring research from bench to bedside. A/Prof Koh is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals to deliver high quality patient care. His dedication to education has earned him multiple Young Educator and Clinician Mentor Awards. He is also a recipient of the Public Administration Medal (Bronze), at the National Day Awards 2025.

Joseph Anthony Tumbocon is the Glaucoma Section Head and Assistant Head for Undergraduate Education at St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) Quezon City, Philippines; Professor of Ophthalmology at SLMC College of Medicine; Trustee of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology; and Secretary General of the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society. Dr. Tumbocon obtained his medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines and completed his ophthalmology residency training in the same institution. He underwent further training as a clinical fellow in glaucoma at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, USA from 2000 to 2001; and completed another year of clinical fellowship in cornea & external disease at the University of Toronto, Canada in 2002.

Biosketch: Dr. Sushma Tejwani is the Medical Superintendent and head of Glaucoma Services at a Narayana Nethralaya-2, Bangalore. She did her fellowship at LVPEI, Hyderabad, India, observership at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA, and PhD at VIT University, India. She has 26 years of experience in clinical training of residents and fellows. She has been part of multiple clinical trials related to glaucoma diagnostics, pediatric glaucoma, lasers & corneal biomechanics. She has presented at several national and international meetings, won a few awards, has 54 publications in peer-reviewed journals, written 8 book chapters, and is a reviewer for many indexed journals.

Dr. Saito is an assistant professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Tokyo. Her research interests have mainly been with optic disc imaging and its application to myopia and glaucoma diagnosis/management. She has published > 45 peer-reviewed research papers in this area and is a board member of the Japan Glaucoma Society, Japan Imaging and Perimetry Society as well as associate advisory board member of the World Glaucoma Association and Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society. She is currently on the editorial board of the Journal of Japanese Ophthalmological Society. She is an active member of several international collaborative myopia and glaucoma studies.

Miss Alessandra Martins is a consultant ophthalmologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of both complex adult and paediatric glaucoma. She is based at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Richard Desmond Children’s Eye Centre. She is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and she her previous research is in the early detection of glaucoma using innovative topographic electrodiagnosticperimetry. She has a special interest in the surgical management of complex secondary adult and paediatric glaucomas.She is currently co-secretary for the UK Paediatric Glaucoma Society.

Adjunct A/Prof Loon is the Head of Ophthalmology at Alexandra Hospital and a Senior Consultant in National University Hospital. He is also the cluster glaucoma subspecialty head. He specialises in performing laser and surgery for glaucoma, as well as complex cataract surgery. He also specialises in the epidemiology of eye diseases, using the research of eye disease in applying the latest technologies whilst ensuring safety and efficacy in treatment. He received his basic training in Singapore, with specialist degrees conferred from the National University of Singapore and Edinburgh. He underwent further fellowship and training in Sydney University, where he obtained a second Masters of Medicine (Merit) in Clinical Epidemiology. He is also keen in medical outreach, and has done medical mission work in Bangladesh, China, Indonesia and Nepal with like-minded friends and colleagues. In 2011, he was conferred the Humanity Award by President Nathan for his work in medical mission work, which he has been doing for more than 18 years. He was conferred the inaugeral Master Clinician Award in 2023.

A/Prof George Kong is a glaucoma specialist ophthalmologist based in Melbourne, Australia. He is Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne and Consultant at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. His clinical and research interests include glaucoma surgery and digital innovation in visual field testing. He has extensive experience in trabeculectomy and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and has published widely in glaucoma management and diagnostics. He is co-founder of Melbourne Rapid Fields (MRF), a web-based perimetry platform, and is actively involved in international collaborations and education in glaucoma care.

Prof. Dr. M. Nazrul Islam is a distinguished glaucoma specialist and senior consultant at Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute. He is a past president of the Bangladesh Glaucoma Society and currently serves as President of the Bangladesh Eye Care Society. He is also Chairman of the Board of Management of Jashore Eye Hospital and an Executive Board member of the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society. Prof. Islam has authored over 70 scientific publications and seven books on ophthalmology. Dr. John Mark de Leon finished is medical education at the University of the Philippines and his ophthalmology residency in ophthalmology at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in Metro Manila. He completed glaucoma clinical research fellowships at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Singapore Eye Research Institute, and at the Stein Eye, UCLA. He is the assistant chair for research at the Department of Health Eye Center of the East Avenue Medical Center, Metro Manila, Philippines

Dr Wong is Consultant and Head of the Glaucoma Team at Hong Kong Eye Hospital. Her research focuses on glaucoma laser treatment, uveitic glaucoma, and childhood glaucoma, with publications in renowned journals e.g. Lancet Digital Health, Nature Biomedical Engineering, and British Journal of Ophthalmology. Dr Yaxing Wang, MD, PhD, is an ophthalmologist and clinician-scientist, currently serving as a glaucoma consultant, Tenure Associate Professor at Tsinghua University, and Vice Director of the Beijing Visual Science and Translational Eye Research Institute (BERI). Her research focuses on glaucoma and myopia, with particular interests in ocular micromorphology, biomechanics, epidemiology, and public health. She received clinical and research training in China, the UK, and the US. Dr Wang has published over 300 peer-reviewed articles, serves on the editorial boards of several leading ophthalmology journals, and is internationally recognized for her contributions to clinical care, research, and education.

Dr Rohit Verma is a Professor of Psychiatry at AIIMS, New Delhi, India with an experience of more than 20 years. With a broad background in clinical psychiatry, he works specifically towards digital and biological aspect of psychiatry conducting research and training in the field. His work majorly involves use of Brain Stimulation therapies (viz. mECT, rTMS, tDCS) and Brain Mapping Tools (fNIRS, qEEG, Eye tracking, Virtual Reality) to understand and manage neuropsychiatric illnesses. He also develops mental health apps (mHealth)utilizing mobile technologies (for digital cognitive tests) as an outreach tool for aiding patients and caregiver’s health related issues.

Dr. Swarup Swaminathan is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Swaminathan also serves as Bascom Palmer’s clinical director for informatics. A magna cum laude graduate of the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Swaminathan completed his residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and glaucoma fellowship at the Duke Eye Center. Dr. Swaminathan has received multiple accolades, including the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Medical Research Fellowship to study trabecular meshwork dysfunction in glaucoma, and the Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Fellowship. Ki Ho Park is a professor of ophthalmology at Seoul National University and the President of the Glaucoma Research Society (GRS), President of AACGC, Vice-President of Asia Pacific Ocular Innovation Society (APOIS) and Board Member of ICO. He was the previous president of APGS, Korean Ophthalmological Society (KOS), and Korean Glaucoma Society (KGS), Korean Myopia Society (KMS), and the previous Board of Governor of WGA. His research interest is focused in glaucoma imaging and AI, early diagnosis and management of normal-tension glaucoma, and prevention of blindness from myopic glaucoma. He has published more than 400 papers in SCI journals, 14 book chapters, and more than 200 international lectures.

Professor Masaru Inatani is the chairman at the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medical Science, University of Fukui, Japan; a director of the Japan Glaucoma Society, a director of the Japanese Ophthalmological Society. After Graduating from Kyoto University and completing residency in Kyoto University Hospital, he was awarded a PhD from Kyoto University Graduate School. After the lecturer at Kumamoto University, he has been the chairman at University of Fukui since 2011. His research interests are glaucoma surgery and molecular mechanism for glaucoma optic neuropathy.

Dr. Rainier Covar earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and completed his Ophthalmology residency at UP–Philippine General Hospital. He pursued Glaucoma fellowships at UP-PGH and Westmead Hospital, Sydney, and obtained a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of Sydney.

Prof Carol Cheung is a Professor at Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her main research interests are ocular imaging and oculomics. She has been working in the field for nearly 20 years, focusing on development and application of state-of-the-art image analysis techniques, including artificial intelligence, for studying diabetic retinal disease, glaucoma and Alzheimer’s disease. Her research leverages on cutting-edge AI and has resulted in enhancing our understanding of these diseases and providing novel solutions to improve “Eye Health” and “Brain Health” through early detection, timely treatment, and preventive healthcare. Dr. Noel Chan graduated from the medical school of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) with first class honors and Kan Tong Po Gold Medal for Medical Studies in 2006. She completed her ophthalmology residency and subspecialty training in Hong Kong Eye Hospital and obtained her FRCSEd(Ophth) in 2012 and FHKAM(Ophth) in 2013 followed by her overseas training in the United States. Chelvin Sng is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore and the Medical Director of her clinical practice at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. She graduated from the University of Cambridge, UK, with triple first class honours and distinctions. Chelvin is the co-inventor of the Paul Glaucoma Implant, which is in clinical use in Europe, United Kingdom, Asia and and Australia. She is the earliest surgeon in Asia to implant several novel MIGS devices, including the XEN Gel Implant and the iStent Inject. She has also published the earliest data on the iStent and the XEN Gel Implant in angle closure eyes. As the Convenor of the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS) MIGS Interest Group, Chelvin has organized MIGS wetlabs and training courses for surgeons in the Asia-Pacific region. She is the co-editor of an open-access book on Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery, which has more than 80,000 downloads worldwide.

Loon Seng Chee is Adjunct A/Prof Loon is the Head of Ophthalmology at Alexandra Hospital and a Senior Consultant in National University Hospital. He is also the cluster glaucoma subspecialty head. He specialises in performing laser and surgery for glaucoma, as well as complex cataract surgery. He also specialises in the epidemiology of eye diseases, using the research of eye disease in applying the latest technologies whilst ensuring safety and efficacy in treatment. FangSeng Kheong is Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and Glaucoma specialist at the International Specialist Eye Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since 2007. Past President of Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society from 2022 to 2024 Founding member of the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology since 2008 and being its Past President from 2013 to 2017. Past President and founding member of Malaysian Glaucoma Society from 2022 to 2024. Conferred Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia in October 2017. Elected Council member of the APAO since 2010. Chairman of the Young Ophthalmologist Standing Committee of the APAO since 2013. Organising Chairperson and Congress President of Asia Pacific Glaucoma Virtual Congress in June 2021 and APGC in August 2022

Dr Cynthia Yu-Wai is a Group Leader and Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and leads the Glaucoma and Therapeutics Lab and the UK Glaucoma BioResource at King’s College London. Her lab is focused on advanced therapeutics, implants and translational research. Dr Yu-Wai-Man has been awarded over £3 million in research funding over the last 5 years. She has received several prestigious awards as PI, namely the Rosetrees Translational Award (2026), MRC Transition Fellowship (2025), Heatley Prize and Medal (2022), MRC Clinician Scientist Fellowship (2020), King’s Prize Fellowship (2019), MRC Confidence-in-Concept Grant (2016).

Prof. Haoyu CHEN is a professor of practice at the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include AI, ocular trauma and medical education. Prof. Chen serves as an academic assessor, reviewer or external examiner for international research grants, PhD viva examinations and faculty promotions. He is an associate editor of Eye. He has published 248 articles, with an H-index of 47. Prof. Chen received APAO Senior Achievement Award, and Outstanding Ophthalmologist Award from the Chinese Ophthalmologist Association.

Dr. Nitika Beri is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Glaucoma Unit, Department of Ophthalmology, University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She is a member of the Associate Advisory Board of the World Glaucoma Association. Her areas of interest include aqueous outflow dynamics, clinical and surgical management of glaucoma, with special focus onaqueous angiography-guided glaucoma surgery. She has received several International and National Awards for her work in research and has authored multiple indexed publications along with book chapters in the field of glaucoma.

Dr Bryan Ang is Deputy Head of the Glaucoma Service at the National Healthcare Group Eye Institute, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Dr Ang’s clinical and research interest is in Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS). He is regularly invited to speak at regional and international meetings, and his surgical techniques in various MIGS have won multiple awards, including 1st and 2nd Prize at the World Glaucoma Congress, and Best Video at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting. To date, Dr Ang has published more than 70 scientific papers and holds multiple competitive grants focusing on glaucoma surgery and diagnostics.

Dr. Jella An is Professor of Ophthalmology and Glaucoma Fellowship Director at the Storm Eye Institute, Medical University of South Carolina, USA. Her clinical expertise includes micro-invasive glaucoma surgery, sustained-release drug delivery, and complex cataract and glaucoma care. She serves as principal investigator for multiple clinical trials and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. An internationally invited speaker and committed educator, Dr. An focuses on advancing safer, earlier glaucoma treatment while mentoring the next generation of glaucoma specialists through rigorous clinical training and research mentorship.

Dr. Noel Chan graduated from the medical school of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) with first class honors and Kan Tong Po Gold Medal for Medical Studies in 2006. She completed her ophthalmology residency and subspecialty training in Hong Kong Eye Hospital and obtained her FRCSEd(Ophth) in 2012 and FHKAM(Ophth) in 2013 followed by her overseas training in the United States. Dr. Chan sub-specializes in neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma as well as low vision. She is an international fellow of the North America Neuro-ophthalmology Society (NANOS) and Council member of Asia Neuro-ophthalmology Society (ASNOS) as well as External vice-president of Hong Kong Glaucoma Society. She is currently the Chief of Service of Department of Ophthalmology in Caritas Medical Center and Kowloon West Cluster of Hospital Authority in Hong Kong as well as Honorary consultant of the Department of Health. Academically, she serves as the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences as well as Clinical Skills Learning Center in CUHK.

ChungkwonYoo, MD, PhD is the Chair and Professor of Ophthalmology at the Korea University College of Medicine. He is a director of planning for the Korean Ophthalmological Society and Korean Glaucoma Society, a glaucoma section editor for Korean Journal of Ophthalmology, and a member of Associate Advisory Board and Technology/Communication Committee for World Glaucoma Association. Prof Yoo has been involved in research, education and clinical treatment related to IOP fluctuations, Lifestyle and Glaucoma, Normal Tension Glaucoma, Glaucoma Surgery, MIGS and Imaging over 10 years. He is an internationally recognised speaker, clinician, and researcher, and has published extensively in numerous Ophthalmologyjournals and books.

Sng Chelvin Dr ABC is Director of the AAA and BBB at the University of CCC. He is a full-time faculty member in the Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma/Burn and an Associate Professor of Surgery. Doctor ABC has been involved in research, education and clinical treatment related to tissue repair and chronic wounds for over 10 years. He is an internationally recognised speaker, clinician, and researcher, and has published extensively in numerous medical journals and books. Currently he is on the editorial board of “Wound Care”. He is extensively involved in national and international education related to wound treatment.

Kin Sheng Lim, MB ChB, MD, FRCOphth, is Professor of Glaucoma Studies at King’s College London and Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at St Thomas’ Hospital. He directs the KCL Frost Eye Research Department and Ophthalmology research at St Thomas’ Hospital. His clinical and research work focuses on aqueous humour dynamics and glaucoma treatment, leading one of Europe’s only dedicated human aqueous dynamics laboratories.

Nakazawa Toru Toru Nakazawa received the Ph.D. degree in Ophthalmology in 2002. He spent the following three years at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary as the research fellow under the direction of Prof. Joan W Miller. Dr. Nakazawa has been a Professor and Chairman of Department of Ophthalmology at Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine since 2011. His research interests have been focused on glaucoma, particularly studies related to neuroprotection. He has published more than 493 articles in board reviewed international journals.

Associate Professor Judy Ku is an internationally fellowship-trained Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Surgeon based in Brisbane, and an Honorary Clinical Professor at QUT. She completed glaucoma fellowship training at the Singapore National Eye Centre, followed by Cornea & External Eye Disease fellowship training at the University of Toronto. Her dual expertise enables a comprehensive approach to complex glaucoma and anterior segment disease. Dr Ku serves on advisory boards for MIGS and MIBS development and is actively involved in education. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, contributes as a reviewer, and has received multiple awards, including the ASCRS Best Presenter Award.

Dr Jennifer Fan Gaskin (MBChB, MD, FRANZCO) is a Glaucoma Specialist at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, and Principal Investigator of the Ocular Fibrosis Research Unit at the Centre for Eye Research Australia (an institution ranked fourth globally in Ophthalmology Research). Her research focuses on novel treatment strategies for fibrotic eye diseases. Jennifer serves as Secretary of both the Australian and New Zealand Glaucoma Society and Australian Vision Research. She was recently elected Co-Chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists’ Scientific Programme Committee. She is a Glaucoma Section Editor for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology.

Dr. Poemen Chan is an Associate Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and a specialist in glaucoma and cataract surgery. His research focuses on pre-glaucoma status, glaucoma, cost-effectiveness analysis, and medical education. He has published over 60 papers in index journals and secured more than HKD 10 million in research and teaching grants. He also holds key leadership roles in World Glaucoma Association (WGA), Asia Pacific Academy of ophthalmology (APAO), Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS), and Hong Kong Glaucoma Society. He was also a section leader and author of the 4th edition APGS guideline

Maria Cecilia D. Aquino, M.D., MMED(Ophthalmology) completed her residency training in Ophthalmology at University of Santo Tomas Hospital, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Manila, Philippines. She was conferred Diplomate in Ophthalmology by the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology and Masters of Medicine in Ophthalmology by the National University of Singapore. She pursued Glaucoma Subspecialty fellowship program at National University Hospital (NUH), Department of Ophthalmology, Singapore. She is now part of the Glaucoma Unit of NUH, National University Health System, Singapore actively involved in providing clinical care and doing research on lasers & glaucoma devices.
