Repeated Low Level Red Light Therapy (RLRL) has emerged as a novel approach to myopia management. While in recent years numerous publications of randomized controlled trials consistently demonstrated excellent efficacy, there are still ongoing discussions about the long-term safety of this technology.

This luncheon symposium will present some of the latest information about this promising emerging technology, including the latest publications of long-term clinical data, the impact of RLRL on the clinical landscape in Japan, the particular potential of this novel technology on patients with high myopia and those who do not respond to other treatment modalities and the safety analysis by one of the top laser safety experts in ophthalmology.
