Dr Suryono is a consultant in Glaucoma services, in Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta. She graduated from Universitas Indonesia, and continued her postgradute program of Medical Anthropology in Amsterdam . She then continued to do her residency in Ophthalmology in the same univiersity. Furthermore, she did her glaucoma training in National University Hospital, Singapore and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, UK. She is currently an active member and executive in Indonesian Glaucoma Society. Also the regional secretary in Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology, as well as an extraodrinary member of the European Glaucoma Society.
