Dr. Catherine Jui-Ling Liu is professor of Ophthalmology, School of Medicine in National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taipei, Taiwan. She was the chairperson of the Department of Ophthalmology, Taipei Veterans General Hospital from 2015 to 2022, and President of the Ophthalmological Society of Taiwan from 2017 to 2020. Now she is a superior attending staff at the same hospital.
Prof. Liu was one of the steering committee that developed the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society and a key committee member of the Asia-Oceanic Glaucoma Society. She has been dedicated to practice and research in glaucoma, as well as medical education and prevention of blindness, for more than 35 years. She has published more than 150 peer-reviewd articles and has served as a reviewer for journals like Ophthalmology, Archives of Ophthalmology, British Journal of Ophthalmology and Eye, a commentator in International Glaucoma Review.
