She is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, and did her residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital.
She had her fellowship training in Glaucoma at the Singapore National Eye Centre and Singapore Eye Research Institute.
She is currently a consultant at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital.
