She obtained her medical degree at the UERM College of Medicine. She took her Ophthalmology Residency at the Jose R Reyes Memorial Medical Center. Her Glaucoma Fellowship was at the Eye Referral Center under the tutelage of Dr Manuel Agulto. She is currently the Course Director of the Glaucoma Fellowship Program at JRRMMC and an Assistant Professor at the UERM College of Medicine.
