Evelyn Komaratih, MD, Glaucoma Specialist was born on January 10th 1968. She received her medical degree from Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya in 1992, finished her ophthalmology residency in 2001, and her doctoral degree in 2018 from Faculty of Medicine – Universitas Airlangga. She has completed her fellowship in Glaucoma at Erasmus University Rotterdam in Rotterdam Eye Hospital – Netherlands in 2004. She finished her Cataract & Intraocular Lens Implantation fellowship in 2006 at Jinan Center Hospital – Clinical Medical College of Shandong University, Republic of China.
Since 2002, she has been working as an ophthalmologist and appointed as associate professor in glaucoma division of Department of Ophthalmology Universitas Airlangga, DR Soetomo Academic General Hospital. She officiate as Head of Ophthalmology Residency Program from 2011-2020 and continue as Head of Ophthalmology Department from 2020 until now.
Currently, she is an active member of Association and Collegium of Indonesian Ophthalmology. She is also editorial board member at Ophthalmologica Journal Indonesiana. She has involved as contributing author in several ophthalmology books, has published 22 scientific publications.
