Born in 1978, Maya Ekakristiani Suwandono, MD received her medical degree from Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang in 2004.
She completed her ophthalmology residency at Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia in 2009.
In 2017-2018, Maya did her Glaucoma fellowship in National University Health System (NUHS), National University Hospital, Singapore.
Currently, she is working as an Ophthalmologist at KMN EyeCare, Jakarta since 2010.
She is also an active member of Indonesian Ophthalmology Association (PERDAMI) and Indonesian Glaucoma Society (IGS). She is also a member of Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society, Indonesian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology.
