Dr Lee graduated as Medical Doctor (MD) and completed her Master in Surgery (Ophthalmology) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She then obtained Certificate of Completion of Fellowship Training in Malaysia and also Adult & Paediatric Glaucoma Fellowship in Moorfields Eye Hospital, United Kingdom.
She practices as a Consultant Ophthalmologist & Glaucoma Surgeon in Ramsay Sime Darby HealthCare Malaysia. She is also the external lecturer for Master Degree of Ophthalmology in UKM. She frequently speaks in Ophthalmology conferences at the local and international level. For clinical research; she had published several papers in international journals related to Cataract and Glaucoma.
For professional affiliations, she is a lifetime member of the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology and for the Malaysian Glaucoma Society; she is holding the post of Internal Auditor. At the international level, Dr Lee is a member of the Asia Pacific Glaucoma Society.
