Dr. Mohd Aziz Husni did his basic medical and postgraduate ophthalmology training in Malaysia. He did his clinical glaucoma fellowship at Dunedin Hospital and the University of Otago, New Zealand with Professor Anthony Molteno in 2009. He later did his Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from Newcastle University.
Dr Mohd Aziz Husni is currently the Head of Malaysia MOH Ophthalmology service and heads the MOH glaucoma service. He currently chairs the MOH Ophthalmology Postgraduate Training Subcommittee.
He is a council member of the College of Ophthalmology, Academy of Medicine Malaysia since 2019. He is a member of the Malaysian Medical Council, Specialty Education Subcommittee for Ophthalmology, Malaysian Universities Conjoint Committee of Ophthalmology (MUCCO), and the MOH Subspecialty Training Committee.
