Professor Norlina Ramli graduated with a Distinction from Newcastle University Medical School, UK. She pursued ophthalmology specialty qualifications in the UK from Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London and later obtained Masters in Ophthalmology qualification from University Malaya with a distinction in her thesis. She pursued Glaucoma subspecialty training at Singapore National Eye Centre. She has published over 50 publications in indexed peer reviewed journals and has a H index of 12 with over 400 citations. She is frequently invited as a speaker at numerous local and International academic meetings in Ophthalmology. She is also Deputy Editor of the Malaysian Journal of Ophthalmology and honorary secretary for Malaysian Glaucoma Society. She has served as consultant to various projects involving her area of expertise for industry as well as NGO entities. In her current capacity as a lecturer in University Malaya, she teaches both undergraduate medical students and postgraduate ophthalmology trainees.
