Dr Poemen Chan is an Assistant Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. He is also the glaucoma coordinator of the CUHK Ophthalmic Microsurgical Training Programme. Internationally, he is a member of the World Glaucoma Associated (WGA) Associate Advisory Broad, a committee member of the Global Outreach Committee and Education Committee of WGA. He is the first certified trainer of iStent, Xen gel stent implantation, and microshunt in Hong Kong. He is also a section leader and section author of the 4th edition APGS guideline.
