Dr. PRERNA GARG is currently working as a Glaucoma and Anterior segment Consultant at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi.
She completed her MS Ophthalmology from VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi in which she was awarded the gold medal for securing the highest marks in her batch. She has also completed her senior residency at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. This was followed by a long-term fellowship in Glaucoma and Anterior Segment from Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi. She can confidently manage all primary and secondary glaucomas both medically and surgically and has recently started performing MIGS in combination with cataract surgery too. She has successfully performed cataract surgery in complicated cases like mature, and hypermature cataract, coexisting with corneal opacity, small pupil etc. She has a keen interest in research activities and published numerous articles in various national and international journals. She has also been involved in writing a few book chapters. She is looking in the future to participate in research projects like stem cells and continues to provide the utmost care to her patients.
