Dr. Lin is Co-Director of Research at the Glaucoma Center of San Francisco. His post-graduate training was at the University of California, San Francisco. He is the former director of the glaucoma service at UCSF.
He is an author on over 250 peer-reviewed publications. His areas of research interest include angle-closure glaucoma, anterior segment imaging, and cyclodestructive procedures. He is currently Executive VP of the World Glaucoma Association. His past honors include the American Glaucoma Society Clinician-Scientist Award and the Mid-Career Award by the AGS. He has also been funded as PI by the NIH, including as a PI for the OHTS study. He is currently on the editorial boards for the American Journal of Ophthalmology and Journal of Glaucoma.
